Command Not Launching Step 1: Missing Prerequisites

If the game doesn't run at launch after install or an update its always best to try and reinstall the prerequisites in case they were missed.

The prerequisites are stored in the PreRequisites folder if you bought Command or WoTY Command at matrix. If you installed Command using the default file location its here:

C:\Matrix Games\Command Wargame of the Year Edition\PreRequisites

If you installed the Steam version its here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\PreRequisites

or here

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\_CommonRedist

Executables that should be run:

dotnetfx35setup.exe
dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe
dotNetFx45_Full_setup.exe
vcredist_x86.exe

and inside the directx_mar2009_redist folder

DXSETUP.exe
