Me? I'm playing a Vassal Module "The Battle for Normandy" your typical Monster game of the Normandy invasion in 1944.
Scale is battalion/company, 1 hex equals 1270 yards (1.16 Kilometer). Might take awhile to play, I'm in the June 6/7 night phase. There are a couple of solo play tables that help plot game moves.

That is a beautiful game.

YEs, CMBO, CMBB or CMAK for my quick need to blow stuff up after a frustrating day. But I am also doing this a bit with Armored Brigade now there is a WW2 mod called AB1943

Still beating myself senseless with Empires in Arms code work to get an update wrapped up. Hopefully in May. I'd like to take a break and get back into other games.

My GoTo break when I need one is still Combat Mission Beyond Overlord (yes, still) where I can knock out a random quick battle in about half an hour. There's something about shooting tanks that relaxes me...

I've read The Barbary Pirates in Mediterian (Ottoman-Habsburg rivalry and until 18th century) recently but didn't know still Barbary pirates in 19th. Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail - Barbary War looks interesting. These have campaign or only battle scenario?

". . . To the shores of Tripoli." That is where that comes from.

Yes in previous centuries piracy was funded by Sublime Porte (Bâb-ı Âli). Since it is naval war game I've wondered that scenario -or campaign- really about naval or land war at that time. Since historically in Mediterrian it was difficult to find skilled sailors and ships at that time. It was all about mercenaries.

How is it? I'm waiting on Cold War. I really want 41 to 43 stuff regarding East Front. Also I think it's time they game the graphics abit of love, esp infantry animations.

Have you ever wondered why some games are becoming popular among users, while others are not? This is due to the correct use of video content. Do you know about ? If not, I advise you to learn more about video distribution and monetization. Vlogbox will be happy to help you with this.

I am tired of my adolescent children constantly playing video games,so I bought the D+D essentials kit and we are enjoying that. Not really a board game. The imagination and mind are stronger than any video game.I have not played D+D since the mid 80's and am having a blast also[:)][:)]

I played Midway '42 to commemorate the anniversary of the battle, and then I tried some of the other scenarios (the title is misleading, BTW: the game covers from Pearl Harbor to Philippine Sea plus hypotheticals). Now I'm playing Arkham Horror (the boardgame) on VASSAL.

At the moment...

'Wars Across The World' modules/DLC's.
Thought it was lite, 'Beer & Pretzets' stuff.. nope! lol. Great eye candy with a game system that works.

Always playing the 'Flashpoint Campaigns-Red Storm' senarios - great 'Modern War' stuff.

And when I'm not on the ground, Flying Spit IX's or Fw 190's in the 'IL-2 Great Battles' Flight Sim Series.

Not so much playing as pulling my hair out or what's left of it deploying units for Barbarossa.

Then to keep my sanity and relieve my back take No Mans Sky or Valheim break from the recliner for mindless entertainment.
