Do you like CM:SF? If so, would you be interested in having this module?

Unfortunately, due to "internet buyinf fever", I bought it thinking it was the British Forces add on...don't ask!!

Basically, the wife was hurrying me out the house, so all the pages were a blur...it wasn't obvious to me as the pages whizzed by, that I was "re-buying" the Marines module!!

Sure he does - he needs Battles from the Bulge as well [;)]

Impulse buyers ... always the first to try something new ... always the ones who pay a premium price so the companies can recoup their R&D costs quickly. Our economy would be back in the Dark Ages without them. I mean : it takes a *real* impulse buyer to buy the first telephone in town - who's he gonna call ? It's guys like this who make sure our society evolves at all.

JD, as a fellow impulse buyer I feel your pain - but I also know it can be cured by simply pretending it never happened and forgetting about it - works wonders [;)]

Far from me to upset the habit of an impulse buyer, but you might want to check if that's possible at all. Can you fight blue vs blue in CM:SF ?

While I'd love to have the module to go with my base game, BTS/BFC lost me (a loyal customer) with this elicense thingmie (I personally think Moon should've had you contact him via email for a refund).

I bought it way back when, and was turned off quickly. I basically just thought it was a pretty poor game with mishandled marketing (i.e. that damn e-licensing).

Has to be worth a go, particularly if the same credit card was used and you ask for a credit on the Brit module rather than a refund.

It got better. Much better, actually... it was released at least six months early but to their credit BF did go on to finish it.

I purchased the Marines module, played, and enjoyed the scenarios. Now, I don't know quite what to do. It really is kinda thin in the content department.

I don't have the first add-on, but I love CMSF! I have a lot of games already, but I'd have tons of fun over winter break with it. It'd also be a good incentive to buy the british add-on too :p.

Either way I'll get it some day here...school ends in one semester and then I get a REAL paycheck. woo

Well, I can't get a refund. It was my fault. It's Christmas.

So it's up for grabs.

All I ask is whoever wants it is genuine and does enjoy vanilla CM:SF. I'd hate it to go to somebody who just wanted to "try it out".

So if anybody wants it, give me a shout...but please. Be honest and be who I am looking for...someone who enjoys CMSF vanilla. Otherwise, please leave it for someone else who does enjoy the game.

Thx

Hi Judge,

I'd be interested, let me know what you're thinking of in terms of price. I've been holding off on buying the expansion module, thinking they might come out with a bundle down the road..

I'm aware of the policy. It does not change my personal opinion. In the past, BTS/BFC have been nice guys and in this case they could have checked the records of how many he bought. Not to mention the elicense thingmie (which I am adamantly against) should work in his favor because they should have a record that he hasn't even used it.

All true, I suppose. BUT....no refund is no refund. Doesn't really matter what we might think is right or wrong. It's written in plain English. I have no excuse. I appreciate your stance, and normally I get all fired up about things myself...maybe I'm not this time because I'm quite embarrassed about how I came about getting the wrong module.

Regardless, it was my own little fault and they do have a no refund policy. Both of those make for an airtight case.
