One DLC is missing from Alea Jacta Est, but apart from that, it's perfect [:D]

Same here, a few hundred dollars at release for sure. Accept for Thirty Years War, which was glad I missed.

I'd already had Pride of Nations + its DLCs, Prussia, and Revolution, but I still think it was worth getting--for Alea Jacta, Civil War, and the whole tier 3 [8D]

Ok... I'll get it. I've got almost all of the games, but I was looking for the DLCs and I've got friends who will be delighted to receive as a present CWII, TEAW or Alea Jacta Est [:)]

Thanks. I didn't have any of the games in the bundle. So I've bought the lot. [:)]

Since someone mentioned in the other Ageod thread about Alea Jacta Est being one of the more simple games, it's nice to pick up and attempt to finally learn these games. So I crossed the river and I went for tier 3, even though I already had a couple of the games.

if you do them in the order they were made, imo you learn the system and enjoy the later ones more, not that it makes much difference either, just it's how i'm going to do it, as i've read it somewhere else, and there's a progression like any series, you see them develop, enjoy

I've already got them all but there are some real gems in tier 2. Rise of Prussia is very elegant and captures the warfare of the era. Revolution under Siege is probably the most bruising game in the AGE catalogue.

I agree, the AJE set is a good purchase.

Bruising? Why?
