On this Memorial Day

I am in my thoughts today with those who gave everything so that the rest of us would have a chance to live in the liberty and freedom which their sacrifice made possible, from the first days of the American Revolutionary War to the present day. May they always be remembered and may their families and brothers in arms find comfort. Freedom is not free and those of us who have it should always be grateful for those who gave their lives to protect it.
