Help. Neither WitW nor WitE will run on my new PC

Hi all,

I've just about given up on this. I got a new super beefy PC to run VR. It has an Intel I9-9900K, 32 gigs of DDR4-4000, RTX 2080 Ti NVMe.2 2TB SSD on Windows 10 Home.

I use Steam, but also have both games in Hard copy with printed manuals.

So Basically, I launch the game from the launcher- A white window pops up, and it closes and exits with no error.

I have tried deleting the \videos folder and that didn't work. I am not sure what else to try. I have updated the game, drivers... anything I could think of. My old PC ran them just fine. I still have that, thinking about just setting that up again and using some kind of remote desktop.

without having the hardware and software listed used, it's hard to say what is making the game not work,

normally it's a poor anti virus or admin permissions tbh, as both games work fine with all versions of windows 10

so run steam and the game as admin, and game should work fine, if not add the exception to the firewall / antivirus, then if that works, uninstall the 3rd party anti virus and firewall and use the one that's built into windows, it's free and unless your doing something for the state, should be fine
