2D graphics

Post by pepita17 »

Hello,

i can't wait for this game, but I admit I don't like the 2D graphics visible on the screenshots
Would it be possible to have the same as CSME ?

Which 2D graphics from CSME would you like to see?

Unfortunately, not anytime soon, no.

Are they the standard CSME graphics?

I will buy today, though not really interested in Vietnam - but to see what the AI is like now, and to support the project - waiting for the EF title, really. But I do very much look forward to later today. Hope it launches well!

Will CSME be patched to the Vietnam level today?

Cheers.

The CSME game engine and editor EXEs have kept pace with the CSVN EXEs; both are in sync and fully up to date. (As are the EXEs for CSEF III (CS:East Front) and CSCW (CS:Cold War).) But the CSME scenarios need to be revamped, and more importantly CSEE/SAI scripted and playtested. That will require months more effort. (There are a few scenarios already for CSEF III, but beyond that, there are vast amounts of content we need to develop before that title is ready. Work on CSCW has barely begun.)

We are working as hard and as fast on this stuff as we can. Everybody's patience is requested.

Middle East 3.0 UPDATE first, while waiting Vietnam engine to settle down. Not that we're expecting any particular issues, we've truly put an effort to test this out. But, as it always is, there will be bugs.

With Middle East 3.0 out, Vietnam DLC then next.
