Game quits responding in the middle of the play.

While I was playing Gray Grigsby's War in the East 2, the game black out and quit responding to my commands. It did that to me on two occasions, back-to-back. I have not been able to complete that scenario.

Was this during the AI phase, or during your movement. It is possible during the AI turn that the screen may black out for some moments, although usually not for more than a few seconds. Can you say what phase the game goes black? What scenario?

I just discovered that pressing shift-S saves the game to server, even when the screen is black and unresponsive. It might also work for non-server games!
