Manual air freight bug

WITE2 v1.02.52 Beta - if I do manual air freight (F9) at the beginning of the air phase then Execute Air Directives (AI assist is on) the game crashes to desktop. Scenario is 1941 Campaign No Early End against the AI.

But Road to Leningrad seems OK, so it must be something in this scenario?

It was not intended that air transport would work in the air planning phase (the button is unavailable, but we must have forgotten to block the hotkey). Even so, I couldn't duplicate the crash when I just tried to do it. Do you have a save you can attach or email to 2by3@2by3games.com? That and details of the transport would help me try to recreate the crash. We should, however, block the F9 hotkey during the air phase. Thanks for the report.

Thanks, I got the save. Did you leave the air transport window up on the right when you started the air execution phase? When I did that it crashed for me with your save. When I closed it first, it didn't crash. Not sure why I couldn't get it to duplicate on in my saves versus in your save, but since it's not supposed to be possible to air transport during the air phase, anything is possible. Ideally we'll block it from being possible to activate F9 during your air phase. Until then, players shouldn't do it.

Yes, because I couldn't find a way to close it - I now realise that pressing another movement type hotkey would close the window, but as it wasn't a movement phase I never thought to try that.

So for anybody reading this, don't try to use Air transport of freight (F9) in the Air phase - its a movement thing, not an air thing.
