Another option to using multiple monitors on the PC -

If you have an iPad or MAC is to use Air Display ( check it on Apple Appstore ) - I run the message log in a separate window on a MAC screen next to the PC, and the main CMANO window on the PC.

iPad version ~$10 Mac version ~$20

I have a three monitor set up. I have Monitor 1 and 2 on my PC Graphic card output VGA - DVI. the third monitor is through a USB-VGA adapter (Display link or Startech to name a few)there are some graphic cards that support up to four monitors, usually with display port.

But the first way is the easiest and cheapest to set up without buying a bigger card.

Multi-monitors will exist in my Man Cave 2.0 setup. But for now it's just me, an Alienware laptop and a LazyBoy in the family room!
