Unable to launch Gateway to Caen

Hello everyone:

I just bought the game and can't launch it. It just flashes some image, but that's all, nothing else happens, but it appears in the task manager as running. I'll attach the DXdiag file report just in case.

Looking through the events log, it seems as if there was some problem with DirectX, though I reinstalled it and still doesnt work...

Any help?

In the events log I found what is shown in the image attached (Some bits are in Spanish...)

Have you tried running in a window to see if the game starts up then?

thats when u edit something within the archive, adding a w or something? I can¡t recall how that was done...
