Merry Christmas from the Developers

Post by Beeblebrox »

On behalf of CSO Simtek Ltd and CSO Close Combat, we wish everyone here a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

Although we have been working on the Military Sims (CCM and derivatives) since 2004, we are very pleased that we are now able to bring Close Combat back to the Community, of which the first is Cross of Iron. Not only will we be re-releasing the original Games, we will also be developing new versions, bringing the improvements that we have been able to make for the Military, and to add new and original features to feed (y)our addiction! [:D]

I believe there is a lot going tp happen in 2007, and if we are good enough (and lucky enough...) to be successful with these, then who knows where it will lead? I have been thinking about what we could be doing for CC7... and we haven't even started on CC6 yet!

A big thank you to the CC Community over the best part of a decade, who have substantially supported CC and either directly or indirectly CSO, when we started as just another bunch of CC nuts who wanted to promote and get involved with the world of Close Combat Gaming.

Also, our thanks to Matrix Games for helping us get Close Combat into the Commercial world, so y'all can get your grubby hands back on them again!

Salute to you all!

Merry Christmas Guys! I'm psyched for '07!

And did those sprites
In ancient times
Walk upon my computer screen?

And was the whole
RealRed mod
On CCIII there seen?

And did those grogs
in recent weeks
bring forth a remade
Cross of Iron?
And will CC6
be builded here
for every CC fan?

I shall not cease
From H2H fight
nor shall my mouse
sleep in my hand
'Til they have built
twellve more of them
and sold them all across this land!
