Future patch suggestions

2 things....
OOB. So I use the Open Supply Allocation (barrel icon top left) as a quick OOB hierarchy view. I find it incredibly useful to open it and drill down to HQ i want to quickly find/select to understand their location/lines of communication/supply status etc. It would be super nice if it could enhanced to toggle and stay open with the heirarchy expanded rather that having to keep drilling down to expand the hierarchy when one clicks off it in the map or somewhere.

Fog of War. Forgive me for making comparisons but Command Ops 2 has a nice FOW feature whereby clicking I (for Intel) hotkey the counter status toggles from ALL/RECENT/CURRENT. So even tho hexs are 2km? or is it 2miles each...the unit status, or at least its intel of visibilty is much more dynamic and realistic depending on environmental conditions. In ComOps2, CURRENT status=most up to date intel so most/many units disapear if your recon unit is not within 1 or 3 hex, RECENT=last few hours, and ALL is what we currently see in Desert War..albeit with variable counter attach/defend/movement values.

update: 3 things
3: Ive never managed to get special forces to work? I dont know why? its probably me but it just does not work like the other recon, air, naval forces which give you visual feedback when you apply them to a hex. special forces...no visual feedback and i cannot ever seem to apply its effect. I thought it might be dependent upon certain conditions like..i dont know, Lines of Communication or something else. Or perhaps its so stealthy you dont know one way or the other. i love those LRDF guys..at least i want to!

Interesting comments. I'll have a think on this idea.

Can you state the scenarios where you are having this experience?

Special Forces are not applied to the map. You assign them one of two missions Counter-air or Interdiction. The feedback is provided at the top of the screen (see area circled in yellow).

Will have a look at that one. Sounds like a good idea.

The other would require move work! [8D]
