Anton has started a new YouTube channel called WarData. It's dedicated solely to the Russian Front.

He talks about it here on his StalData channel:

Looks promising. Check it out when you get the chance.

This is a good "trailer" for the various Stalingrad-related videos produced by StalData:

Very interesting if you are into the details of the Stalingrad campaign.

The Battle of Stalingrad: Part 2/2 (1949)

Was viewing some StalData videos that I had skipped in the past; one was a video where Anton reviewed a film released in 1949 on the battle of Stalingrad. It is an interesting film, quite the epic--a long watch. There are PzIIs, III, IVe's and IVf's, hanomags, T-34s, armored trains, Pe-2's etc. The actors all look like the leaders and generals they represent. English subtitles are great! Follows the flow of the battle quite well...but everyone is heroic--especially the Man of Steel. If you are interested in all things Stalingrad--the cinematography of it is all part of the story.
