Today Luftwaffe is no longer resting.
Luftwaffe in the West reacts with force against tactical raids north of Paris.
Luftwaffe of the Homelandfront tries to kill a few of very high flying B-17s - with some good results.

In Italy the LW is still resting, but it will soon be active.......I have two full Geschwader and several SG Gruppen in and around Italy!

In the night BC was active, but Dixie forgot to use NIs!

The Sterling seems to be very agile, but flying in the coastal areas of Western Germany is a dangerous business!

As soon as the NFs are too far out in the sea, they start to turn back in patrol mode.....no I assign them to new targets.

2000 109s isnt enough? [:)]

In my pbem I have recently received first G6/ASes(turn 90), actually about 2 weeks ago soon, I would have enough of them to give them to my all 109 units, but I'm hesitating. Will the game actually become extremely bloody in 44, and will I actually ever need those 2000+ 109s I have in the reserve? I just stopped building G-6s alltogether, as in any role that is not top cover at 35,000ft, compared to 190s, they seem just useless, even if I havent yet experienced the massive losses against heavies' gunners that most people do, and as I did in single player. So far I have been easily able to replace all losses and use pretty much whatever I want, except for Nachtwaffe units, but both the Allied bombing campaign(which hasnt targeted the aviation industry much yet) as well as the air war becoming 2-3 times more bloodier might turn the net aircraft situation into negative, eating stocks. And that might mean using the crapplane reserves.

Are you going to give your units better fighters as soon as possible, leaving stocks for replacements mainly, or will you start building reserves of them, letting frontline units fly with the crappy G-6?

I will react to the enemy actions - if he is attacking always at ultra high levels, I will have to go for high altitude fighters.
But the mix is always important, because the tactical forces are at low/medium altitudes, the Liberators at a normal high altitude, only the Fortress can attack on ultra high alts (beside some fighterbomber missions)

The plan for the next future:
FW 190 fighters go to the frontlines, with the exception of the cannon fighter types
Bf109G-6 will concentrate on strategical raids
Bf109G-5 attack fighters and fighter bombers
