Final Lower Pocket.

I thought it would hold but clearly no shut case.

I assume, if I had delayed my attack and tanks discovered, that this potion of the russian line was going to be retreated or heavily reinforced.

Final North, pending the attack by the Night King.

Actually its settling down. Leningrad will be reduced asap as I need troops elsewhere

Turn 59

Post by BrianG »

Russian recon returns to the action. And I guess Russian MP's at this stage are very sufficient to move far enough to break pockets. Sad more than mad.

HYLA has shoved into this reopened pocket every non important unit, misc air hq's, unused airbases, unused hq's to block any corral attempts on better ground units.

In west Moscow only 2 attacks but in one I had a very ugly loss of defensive bombers.

The rr to the Crimea has been cut.

A very static front.

I think we will be doing one attack a week until Leningrad is cleared.

Surrender seems to be the order of the day.

Hyla also has thrown in 2 Front hq's. Anything to stop a retreat west of his guard cav units. HYLA has no regard for high command.

I contemplate how I could isolate the front hq's but it seems better to smash East and open a hole for future turns.

This was a key hex: surround and then rout.

While I attempt a push East to Stalingrad, I eye Rostov. It would be good to cut the rr over the river.

I run into Tank corp reserve activation
