2by3+ is looking for a new Soviet Commander to take charge of the Central Front. Your task will be to fight for Moscow and push to Berlin as the Central Front commander along with 2 other front commander and a Supreme Commander.

Is this one of those situations, where the new central front commander, will be briefed only after they have agreed to take the post?

"Comrade, Congratulations on your promotion from lieutenant to General, it is a rarity, but we believe in you. You see those 14 Panzer and motorized divisions adjacent to Moscow? They are the enemy!!!"

"And beside them in Moscow proper, where there are 4 rifle divisions, one Calvary divisions, 2 rifle brigades and one naval brigade? THAT is your NEW ARMY, comrade! Congratulations!"

"Now defend Moscow, and then drive to Berlin! We have faith in your abilities!"

"We will look into sending you some reinforcements,....don't call us, we will call you!"

"Here, take this capsule,,,,,just in case, you never know comrade!"

Have always wanted to know more, how these things are set up. Not sure if now is the best time for me however.

This is 100% this situation. You literally, nailed it, haha.

This is the situation we are now facing as the Soviet team and we already lost 4 Commanders inside of a few months.

Comrade Lastkozak, if you are interested, you are more than welcome. Now is DEFINITLY the best of time for you to join and test your skills against an aggressive and ruthless German army. We are still in 1941 and the winter is set to come any time now..... Giving you a fair advantage.

In the other team game the Axis team is on its 8th commander and the Soviet team on its 7th - so pretty standard! Pretty similar drop out rates to solo games - but at least with team games they carry on when someone leaves. At least with a Soviet side you know at some time you will be marching in to Berlin, the only question is which year. A bad Axis start can mean a very poor game.

lastkozak I would urge you to consider it. It is a much smaller time commitment than a whole game on your own and of course does not mean you are committed to the end either - and a chance to learn from others.

1) Who else is playing, German players and Soviet?
2) Can I get a screen shot of the current situation, date, rules, and or any house rules?
3) Explain to me how this works? One commander for each front and then a supreme leader?
4) How does it work? Each player has command of a front and who tells them they cannot take other Fronts units or steal all the APs?
I might then consider it.

At the moment there is North, Central, Southern for each team and a supreme commander but the sectors can change at the situation demands

For Axis there is Crackaces (north) Myself (centre) Kenchisulla (south) Telemecus (Sup com)
For the Soviets there is Doctorking (north) the centre is free, south (Kratsch) and Neogodhobo (Sup com)

We each take turns using the same save file then oversee our own theatres, once done it pass it along to the next commander for their turn

About things like AP and ground forces, planes, all resources of that nature in general the supreme commander oversees who gets what in that respect or we agree among ourselves

OK, I read the rules! Supreme Commander and Most Glorious Leader of the Great Workers State, Please send message via pm, and we can negotiate release from my forced outpost in Uzbekistan!

Comrade Supreme Commander, I am in Uzbekistan, because I no wanting agree because Supreme Commander want me agree! I tell truth, but this is not popular practice in USSR! No point me leave Uzbekistan, if you just sending me back, because you no like I tell you truth!

It does not matter .. stick it out and the Soviets end up in Berlin .. The Morale loss over 3 winters .. and the dependency on Morale for combat effectiveness does the trick

I count 6 pz divisions and 12 pz rgt give or take a tank or two ... I would worry more about all the Infantry the AGC commander has brought up into the mix ... but we come in peace to embrace you into the Reich ...
