Victory or Stalemate?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Victory or Stalemate?

Post by HansBolter »

It's apparent that I will conquer Berlin before the Soviets.
Quite likely before the end of '44.

The real question is will I ever get enough Victory Points to get out of the Stalemate category?

One can only hope that the game designers had the presence of mind to assign 2,000 Victory Points to the capture of Berlin to ensure that doing so would yield a Decisive Victory.

I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Wonders never cease.

They did get this part correct.

I was awarded a Decisive Victory upon the occupation of Berlin.
