AARs

In an effort to easily keep track of the progress of each game I am going to create a thread in the AAR section for each game and each player will be required to post in the thread everytime they E-mail a turn.

They will post minimum:
1) the World Power they are playing
2) the game date they just played
3) the player they have sent the E-mail to

This is required and each time a player fails to do so will cost him 1pt off his individual score.

Optional per post:
1) One screenshot
2) A description of the turn

For each post that contains these optional items the player will be awarded 1/4 pt on his individual score. Thats 1 pt for each game year or about 6 pts for a game up to 1946 and even more if the game goes into East vs West.

Germany has started the war... Poland went extremely well (read without losses[;)]). One flak went elite, and one infantry gained its veteran status...
On the other hand, veteran sub failed to damage lone transport...[:@]

Blitzkrieg into E. France has proven the might of German army... Combined attack of air and ground went very good... Medals all around[:D]

Lone sub in Atlantic has managed to sink first transport... But still waiting for the elite status...

Japan pushes into Liuchow, but suffers losses. Tojo is ashamed of his airforce's lack of skill.

Another quarter of research and defensive military modernization. Russia wants to live in peace with its neighbours...

Fall 39 turn sent to Germany.
 
The French government collapsed amidst news of the German penetration of the Maginot line.
The inexperienced joint British/French armed forces commander has been sacked for incompetence.
Analysis of the West European Defence Strategy has shown there to be serious deficiencies in Allied war preparation and strategy.
In London, the British government appears to be on its last legs as disastrous war reports churn in almost hourly.

Winter turn ´40.
Mussolini decided to wait a little longer[:-], but I expect him to join soon. Yugoslavia was welcomed, and Greece is axis leaning- so I feel safe on the south...
TLC has not been attacked yet- no rush there. Winter turns are always slower

W40 - Japan works slowly to grind down China's will to resist.
So far the Western Allies have borne the brunt of the war's casualties.

Japan's imperial air force brings the foreign policy objectives to the Chinese people deep in the interior of this soon-to-be colony of the Emporer. The futility of its economy is exposed as the argument of the Japanese armaments make their point.

Rail infrastructure is impeded, and factories are reduced to the pale immitation of Japanese glory to which the Chinese pretenders ascribe.

Again Russia enjoys peaceful living , while modernizing its armed forces. China heaviy invests into air defense to stop the Japanese imperialists from destroying its infrastructure...

Western Allies Spring 40.

The defenders of liberty continue to re-enforce their positions awaiting the next Axis assault. The entry of the Italians into the fray suggests Germany's next move may be to secure the Mediteranean(?) Sea.

Malta is becoming graveyard for Allied fighters, as Germany backs up Mussolini. But bombers are still intact...
In the Scotish sea Allied fleet is attacked with 3 HB, and get away with partiall result... Only CAG was damaged...
