Panzer Corps Reviews and Awards

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

Gamer.no Review:

http://www.gamer.no/artikler/91834/anme ... zer-corps/

8/10 "Whether you're Panzer General-veteran or a beginner who wants to try a serious strategy game without the absurd amount of detail and a rule book with the same number of pages that the Bible is, Panzer Corps is a very good buy."

Very impressive improvement over PGII! As an Army Operations Research Systems Analyst for the Test and Evaluations Command Combined Arms Test Activity at Ft Hood, TX I was responsible for development and evaluation of war games as training aids for company and field grade officers. Later I assisted in the development of war simulations to evaluate actual war plans. I have many suggestions to improve your game to include scaled/unclassified data and would like very much to collaberate with you on future versions of this game.

Thanks for the feedback. There are many ways to get involved and a number of mods in production so feel free to join the community and let us know your thoughts!

We're very interested in the use of games for training so if you have any insights it would be good to know.

PCGamer Holiday 2011, issue Number 221, page 32, Tactical Advantage column. Just came to my house on 11-04-2011. It shows a picture of Panzer Corps at the bottom and it says:

Panzer Corps displays enough information that you rarely need to open a menu or check a stat sheet.

First Panzer Corps: Afrika Korps review just came in from 7IDGaming, giving it a stunning 90%!
Afrika Korps is much better and even more comprehensive than it`s already very entertaining predecessor. The emerging atmosphere is dense and authentic. A "Must Buy" for strategy gamers.
