D21 po v. po ran to T180 Soviet win

Post by larryfulkerson »

So um........hey you guys: I started a D21 game PO versus PO and let it run for a couple of days without intervention and saw how the Axis guys stalled in front of Moscow, faltered at Leningrad, and failed to enter the Crimea, and by about mid-1942 the Soviets started pushing the Axis forces backward and by T180 captured Berlin. Due to a short circut between the different elements of my current brain I neglected to grab the date from that turn so I'm guessing that it was somewhere around March 1943 or so. Approximately. I'm going to make some changes to the PO path(s) and run it again to see what difference it might make.

Per the Briefing - D21 is Axis human only, Soviet PO only.

I thought that was the point of Russo-German War 1941-1945; either side PO, same scale.
If you're STILL making Panzer IIs after seeing your first T-34... you're probably going to lose.
