First timer looking for UK based player to help me learn the ropes of the game

Hi people,

I am a UK based (London) player, looking for a player who might initially have a bit of time to show me the ropes on playing the game. I've checked up on some of the videos etc available but have usually found the best way to get to grips with the game is to have someone teach you who has played it before.

The reason I say UK based is really just to find a player on the same time zone to myself.

I've tried just diving in but am just finding it hard to get into. I play lots of board games at this sort of complexity but with computer games, normally more at the Panzer Corps point and click level. If anyone has a free window one afternoon or evening please give me a shout. Once mastered, I shall be looking for opponents too of course!
