Question: WP rounds effect on BU AFVs

Post by UP844 »

One of my Panthers had the dubious honour of being swamped with WP rounds by a British 3" mortar.

Besides placing a nice white smoke cloud on the counter, a message appeared in the bottom right box, stating "Normal morale check performed".

I assume a CE AFV can be forced to BU or become stunned. What does a failed MC imply for a BU AFV? Does it become Shocked? (and, possibly, an "Unconfirmed kill")?

Does this ASL rule also apply in ToTH?
All units, including friendly units (EXC: non-CE CT AFV) in a Location when WP is placed in it must take NMC (EXC: non-moving units during MPh).

White Phosporous smoke round only affects open topped or crew exposed vehicles, so tanks like Sherman that is buttoned up are not impacted.
