B25

Post by Lowpe »

My son was at a football game Saturday, college, and was buzzed by a low flying B25!

This one in fact.

From the Chase Plane...which in this case was above....I can see myself in a Zeke, twisting to dive...

From the gun canopy, the 50 caliber to the right, a canon belching in the endzone...the National Anthem playing, singing...

The view from the nose of a B-25 in flight is great.

A beautiful plane, and I don't say that about every plane I see.

I saw "Catch-22" again a few months ago. The best part of the movie, other than the one nurse, was watching those birds fly.

Looks great. This is one of the few B-25 restorations which has the right exhaust configuration & correct carb intake for war built Mitchells. Most that have the post war mods keep them.

My only complaint, & its one that burns my buns more than anything else, is why do owners & restorers put so much time & effort into a project & then slap on a totally inaccurate paint scheme?

At first glance at this picture, I thought the B-25 was sitting on the field. [X(] My first thought was, how the hell did they get it there?! [:D]

(Far too early in the morning and no coffee in me yet.)
