So normally this means that the number of aviation support doubles, however Canton doesnt. Anyone have a reason for why this could be. The airfield does have an asterix icon on it(star or crown)

Level 7 allows taking replacement aircraft without an AHQ in range, IIRC. You still need the 20K supply too.

The doubling of AS at a Level 8 or more AF does not show up in the rollover pop-up (at least in stock 1126a). You have to look at the base info screen.

ETA: The asterisk pertains to overstacking.
