I just got a Corsair group and transferred them to CV Enterprise .

The problem that you have is that Corsair is not hookable, that means it has no tail hook and is not carrier capable.

Indeed.

F4U-1 is not carrier capable plane, it can only take off for transfer to base but cannot land on carrier. Thus it cannot participate to any other air operations. Also, they take 4x space compared to carrier capable planes (since they are not usually designed to be stowed in carrier).

In this case, those 8 Corsairs take space of 32 planes.

I believe later versions of the Corsair are CV capable.

Yes, beginning with the F4U-1A the Corsair is CV capable.

Treat the F4U-1 like a P-47 or P-51
