Maps are fine

World in Flames is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. World In Flames is a highly detailed game covering the both Europe and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. If you want grand strategy this game is for you.

Maps are fine

I just got sick of see the other thread knocking the maps at the top of the list.
There may be lots of things to do.
Fixing the map is not one of them.

All we need is for Red Prince to update his AAR more often. [:)]

Unfortunately the improvement of graphics in computer games is increasing.
What these graphics do to improve the game is zero.
Get the game working and you could play it regardless, I'm sure someone could invest their time and upgrade the map. I dont want to wait another "X" years for a pretty map.
As long as the map allows the game to be played it is OK.

The maps are not just fine - they are a work of art.

Those people who state they won't buy the game because of the maps? - fine don't buy it; they do not need changing; they are not going to be changed.

Work of art is pushing it.
Never say something is never going to be changed, I recall similar comments about WITP Vanilla!

Well in MY OPINION these maps are a work of art. I bought WITPAE but the maps are hideously ugly with garish colours. I want a map to look nice (e.g. WITE and MWIF) not so busy such that it detracts from the units.

As far as the future is concerned, well of course, who knows if there wil be a MWIF2 but given the length of time it's taken to get MWIF1 to Market I think it's safe to say that no change in the map will be contemplated for many, many years to come.

Now, now. He might have meant work of Art. Not knowing that the graphics person was named Rob (a different Rob[;)]).

The maps are fine.
No need for matrix to change them.
