Clicking on main form

Post by Courtenay »

I click on the main form all the time -- to access menus, to change which major power is acting, to toggle map displays on or off, to cycle through units, or to change map displays.

All of these actions involve the menus or the top two lines of the main form. Today I accidentally clicked below those lines, and discovered that doing so brings up various forms -- the weather form, the action limits, the sequence of play, and the terrain effects chart.

Here is a picture showing what click produces each form:

If you already knew this, my apologies, but since I have been playing this game for years and did not realize it, I felt that others might not know either, and that this information would be helpful.

This is mentioned in volume I of the players manual - page 165.

"Each of the tiny panels [on the main form] can be used to display help information."

You just have to read the fine manual {RTFM} thoroughly.
