installation problem

Hi,
I downloaded the demo version and it played fine so I bought the game. I did the digital download and all seemed to go well. It went through setup and I played the first battle, which is the same as the one in the demo. I went to campain to start the other battles. It played the movie nicely then went back to the intro screen. I can't do any more with the purchaced version than the demo.[&:]

Brett,

The first order of business is to make sure the video card is up to spec, and the drivers are up to date. For some reason older video drivers are extra sensitive to the simple graphics TS-ATG is using. If you have any custom video codecs installed on your machine, you might want to update or delete them from your system.

The next thing to do is to run the DXDiag tool. Here's a link to some instructions:

We can also take a look at the log file that was generated for the run. It should be installed under the Log subdirectory where you installed the game. (C:\Matrix Games\Alexander the Great\Log by default.) It will be a dated file with the .log extension: tinsoldiers_02_07_2005.log.

Send an email to support@matrixgames.com and attach the log file (or files) and the DXDiag output file.
