You are rigth, onlinegaming is another kind of buisness than singleplayer. I playd many pbm games in "field of glory " ; people general, Panzercorps and more.
But at the end i must confess onlinegaming is nothing for me in the long sigth, thats why i stoped it once and for all, sorry.

PBEM is not online game . You are taking your turn whenever you want it to. After 3-5 day ect...

Yes, thats what i did in "fIELD OF Glory " ; Play by e mail, sorry, in the long run it was no fun.
Same for onlinegaming, lost connections, player did quit game before end, waiting for weeks for the next move, hard feelings and more.
I will not start this againe. But this game is offline also great fun.
