normal Cav, the others are all (well different)

Cav is not as Good as Heavy in the charge

Cav is not as Good as light in the recon, chase mode, but better then Heavy

and so on

Waste is related, essentially, to the number of provinces you have that do not have the requisite number of courts.  The section in the Manual Appendix on page 15 explains this better than I could.

There are some stockpile limits for the resources, they can be found on page 4 of the same document.
Occasionally, and randomly, problems and solutions collide. The probability of these collisions is inversely related to the number of committees working on the solutions. -- Me.

For unit differences, look in the Appendix, starting on page 45.

The waste section is very confusing.  It could have been better written.  Something like would be better:

In the Advanced Economy, nations lose resources from economic inefficiency based on the number of provinces owned by the nation. This is called Waste, and the amount of Waste each turn is provided on the Economy report.  Production (resources and money) is reduced by waste, according to a percentage calculated by the formula:

Waste = ([total # provinces] - [# of  provinces that do not generate waste] - 30) * [province modifier] (max of 90%)

A Province does not generate waste if:
* it is a part of a Protectorate
* it is a core province with 5 or more courts
* it is a conquered province with 7 or more courts

The province modifier (calculated for each province individually):
* is 0% (no waste) if a province
** is a core province with 7 or more courts, or 5 or more culture
** is a conquered/protected province with 9 or more courts or 7 or more culture

* is 2% if a province does not meet the 0% requirements but
** is a core province
** is a conquered/protected province with 7 or more courts or 5 or more culture.

* is 4% if a province does not meet either the 0% or 2% requirements

Note that it is possible for a province not to cause waste, but still be affected by it.  Similarly, it is possible to generate waste, but not be affect by it.

[put example here]
