Renaming Armies

Post by MrBoats »

This may have been covered before, but might it be a future option for us to rename armies? I formed an army to get Butler out of the way by sending him to besiege New Orleans in early '62. The army was automatically named the Army of the Tennessee. I'd like to be able to save that name for Halleck's/Grant's army in the Tennessee valley. I don't know how hard that would be to program, but I think a lot of us would appreciate the option.

As always, thanks to Pocus and AGEOD for a great game and for all the support.

HUUMMMM Very interesting. I never thought of that. I was just wondering It is given that you have an army in the east and then I build one with Buel when Grant arrives. So I was wondering because Butler is not the worst 3 star around who did you replace him and did you build an army at Ft. Monroe?

I think there is a mod underway to allow for more armies names, check the ageod forum for it if interested.
