AACW gold edition?

AACW gold edition?

I read an article at wargamer a couple of weeks ago that said "AACW" was going gold and that it would ship to retailers on 1/28/08. Can anyone give me an update on this news? Has it went gold? If so when will the gold edition be available at Matrix?

"Going gold" (referring to the master disk?) in a gaming context means that the release code has been completed and that the game is being prepared to ship (disks cut, boxes etc), not that there is a "gold edition". It's the same game, just the North American (?) store-retail-in-a-box release. It has been in UK stores for a while.
