Error with serial number?

I have just downloaded and patched v 1.1.10 to my original purchase. Trying to run it it says there is an error with my serial number and to contact support. I have checked the serial number and it is correct, I have checked in the file serialreg and the serial is right in there.

I'm going to have to let the Matrix guys respond to this issue as we don't have anything directly to do with the installer.  I do know that sometimes anti-virus programs can interfere with an install, so that might be one thing that's causing problems.

Looks like a reinstall of the base version plus the new patch has sorted it.

Aha, that was in a very nice restaurant in Krackow last year - I follwed up with rather too many herb flavoured vodkas.......
