New Software installed msg?

I have a physical copy of FoF: although it installed and seems to play w/o any issues so far, I didn't notice the usual Windows "new software installed" msg. when I went into the "All Programs" menu after the installation.

I had some confusion installing the 2nd FoF disk: all it did was show a pop-up of a file -- which I did nothing with -- and ask me if I wanted to install antivirus software, which I didn't as I already have MacAffee, and you don't mix and match Anti-V programs.

Did I do something wrong by not doing anything when I installed the 2nd disk?

I don't know anything about the installer as we don't deal with that directly.  Hopefully someone from Matrix will be able to clear matters up for you.

They generally wander by here before too long, but you might also try e-mailing the support address.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this.

The second disk has the remaining data as well as the AV offer, as long as the game runs you should have nothing to worry about. If it's not running then my guess is that the second disk was bad.

FoF seems to work well, it was just disturbing not to get the usual Windows new software installed msg. Has anyone else reported this?

There were no instructions for the disk installation in the FoF manual; aside from popping the 2nd disk in, there was nothing else I was supposed to do, right?.
