wierd supply route

Has this happenned to anyone else? I set a supply TF from Mare to Guam (one way-the TF will then use Guam as the home base.)
When I look at the route plotted it does not look to be even close to the most direct way to get to Guam. dipped down to the Gilberts if i recall correctly.)
I had to alter the route manually.
Is this a bug or is their something I am missing regarding map projections and 2D distortions?

It happened to me too... but after 1 turn the TF changed to the direct path

I have seen it happen in both WITP and WPO. Only once did a TF go off into the sunset. usually it corrects itself.

Reason is presence of enemy TF (ussually submarine) somewhere on planed route ... AI will automaticly change the path and then correct it back, when path is without "known" danger ...
Excuse my English ... I hope is better then Your Czech ... 8-)
