Battle AI Advisor and Breakthrough/Pursuit?

This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.

Battle AI Advisor and Breakthrough/Pursuit?

Post by Leeds »

If I use the Battle AI Advisor will it also automatically take care of Breakthrough and Pursuits?

Thanks

I wouldn't count on it-I don't recall ever seeing that. It may work, but you are better off taking care of that yourself. If you really want to use the ai to run your battle you can select breakthrough and designate the desired target province before checking the ai box.

Although the battle ai is probably smarter now than when the game was first released, I have not used it. It was not too long after I bought the game I noticed that the ai would (IMO) abuse units in battle by not rotating those out of the first line. The results were added losses and sometimes lost battles. You would be better off on handling battles, at least important one, yourself.

The opposing battle ai had gotten smarter as the game was developed-that is clear. As I said above, the friendly ai is most likely smarter now too, but I prefer to conduct the battles myself.
