The British landed an army in today Kuwait, end of 1914. After that they slowly fought their way north. Is that simulated in the game ?

British (and I think French) reinforcements can come on transports in the South of the map.

So yes, there is the option for that to happen.

Good that the possibility exists.
Will the AI do this ?

I haven't seen it (yet), but the AI certainly focuses heavily on the desert war - lots of action based in Egypt/Palestine

I've seen the AI do this, but it usually ends up in disaster for the AI unless you have left the area empty. If the landing party can't capture a city they are immediately out of supply and are very easy to eliminate even with simple garrison.
