visibility

gentleman; when you are editing a map, how do you toggle visibility from a hex?I cannot seem to locate that feature[>:]

Hi Carl,

Not sure that you can check visibility from the map editor. At least I have never been able to do it.

As far as I know visibility can only be checked from scenario editor.

In the map editor, the best you can do is to try either/both of

[*]Display > Map Elevations
[*]Display > Hex Contours

which are not as direct and visual as

[*]Display > Visible Hexes

which is, as Big Ivan noted, only available in the scenario editor (also in-game).

Adding Display > Visible Hexes to the map editor -- it's an interesting idea, something to add to the wish list.

thank you both Big Ivan and Berto, yea, I gave up after exhausting every option and pulling my eyes out looking, I just flip between the map in edit and the scn in edit*shrugs* it is....what it is..[:D]

Oh, one last question, did I or was I dreaming, did someone have a way to hot key "F" so you can freeze a unit with a key stroke in scn edit instead of having to select the F icon on the toolbar?
