Please e-mail your save (.btl) file to: robert (dot) osterlund (at) comcast (dot) net

You might similarly send your error.log & engine.log files too. (Look in the logs folder.)

What is the game in question? What is the version #? You can find that from the Help > About display.

For JTCS, all files are in the top-level game folder. You should be looking for files named

[*]<something>.btl -- where <something> is whatever name you gave the file when you saved your game
[*]engine.log
[*]error.log

I can't send you any files. It's you who must supply the files.

If you can't manage any of this, you can revert to your Backup Save files (assuming you have that toggled ON in the Options menu). In Windows Explorer, just delete your latest .btl save file. Then rename your *OLDER.btl file, removing the ' OLDER' from the name. For example, "Battle Foo OLDER.btl" > "Battle Foo.btl". Then reload your earlier save and retry game play from that. (You should also have an OLDEST version, which you can fall back on too.)

Good luck.

Problem solved.I have followed a suggestion for the application of the patch 2.0.the suggestion was to click with the right mouse and open property and adapt to work with another windows version.Despite the re-installation the the change has remained active.I have again windows XP.
Anyway thank you for the help.
Now i have another question for the patch 2.02.The patch require windows from vista and over,if i apply anyway(having XP)there are problems?

Glad your problem was solved!

Even though, for JTCS 2.0*, Windows XP is not an officially supported platform, we on the Dev Team have had no problems with it. On XP, you should be fine.
