Major Ferry Question

Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. Major Ferry Question

The manual states that units with a minor ferry capacity of 10% reduce the added cost of minor rivers by 1. If they have a minor ferry capacity of 20%, they negate the added cost entirely. Unfortunately, I could not find the corresponding info regarding major ferry capacity and super rivers. Can anyone shed light on super river cost reduction?

Also, do units with ferry capacity have to start the turn in the hex in order to reduce river crossing costs? I would assume they do. Could someone please confirm and/or elaborate?

One last question - I feel like a pest asking all of these newbie questions, so does anyone know of a website that has a player guide? I found a couple, but they were rather basic - pretty much just repeating the manual. I've played a few other games that have very extensive strategy guides and reference materials (WiTPAE, the Civilization series, the Anno series and Banished to name a few), but I haven't been able to find much for TOAW. Does any such website exist?
