arrival time?

Post by Hexed Gamer »

Anyone even remotely willing to give a today relevant (today is oct 7 in this case) comment on when the 8.3 will appear?

Life will go on if there is work still being done on it.

I am just curious.

Not that it's "vitally" important, but this week lets see, I have lost count of all the "nice" things that have happened for me personally hehe.

If it makes it to me by end of sunday, I am adding it to the list of things that made THIS week awesome.

Been holding off sending cds to a few people for quite a while now. So I am anxious for to be able to clear that up as well.

Les, sorry to disappoint, but it probably won't be this weekend. Yes, I know that Monday is Thanksgiving in Canada, and many government workers in the US will be off for Columbus Day, so sorry to spoil the holiday. [:(] Barring any more problems, 8.3 should be up sometime next week. The announcement will come from either Erik or David.

I was thinking it would refuse to cooperate with your prediction though hehe.

Gets here when it gets here.

The original schedule was for the 8.3 patch release to be on Friday Oct 8, but this was delayed for a few days to finalize the Tin Soldiers release.

I'm just keeping you guys aware of what's going on, so don't shoot the messenger.

Actually, according to the original announcement, it was to be the week of 9/21. Its only almost a month later, we still have awhile to go yet...[;)]

No sweat guys, get it to us when you can...a lot of us over at the DEPOT have been busy killing the time on a little special project anyways.[8D]

Yeah, I'm going to install 8.3 of course. But I look at the depot oobs as the ultimate patch.

What I am baffled as long as the last patch took, why weren't some quite obvious icons being wrong have been caught. British Commandos showing as an armored vehicle and such. Where is the true update and modswapper in my Generals Edition?
I am worried, guys. Near total lack of updates/screenies on CL?
8.3 in limbo of space/time continuum? Didnt I see on here that it was completed but not released yet?
Please advise?
Please dont take this the wrong way, I have been with Matrix since you started up, and have spent much $ with you.
Is this your jobs or is it still a hobby?
It seems like you guys have grown pretty big since your inception, and just curious.
- Sergeant, what should I do if my parachute won't open?
- Bring it back and I'll replace it.
