A simple one
You could try "Surprise on the Steppes". This is a small encounter, Ger vs Sov, that is relatively simple, so you could try it several times until it becomes easy. It also plays relatively well from either side.

For a rather unfair but easy run, try "Wittman's Gamble". <G> (Well, easy up until you hit the Fireflys and Cromwell IVs.) If you feel up to it, or simply want to learn by experimentation, you can follow up with "Wittman's Return" and "Missed Opportunities", which are part of the 3-scen Battle for Villers-Bocage set. ("Gamble" is the first in the set.)
In general, for learning the game, you'll want smaller battles - if in the briefing text or scenario title it notes that it's "big", it's correct. ("Supercharge", f'r example. <G> Don't think I've ever managed to finsih out that one.) "The Matrix Moves Out" is fun, but the Artifical intelligence in it is uncomplicated by real waypointing - it'll headbutt to the Victory Hexes, and thus is somewhat vulnerable to tactical manuervering. "Turncoats" is a good one, but unbalanced against the Germans. (It'll be hard just to make it north of the crossroads, much less *exit* anything.)
Always read the briefing notes, if available. Some scenarios are quite deliberately unbalanced, and while playable as either side, they're not built for it and thus tend to be of little enjoyment and/or educational value.
"Breakout From Borisov" was, as I recall, somewhat difficult. If you run into something too tough, or just something you're not yet ready for, you can always drop out and try a different scenario. <G> One of the first ones I ever tried was *waaaay* too much for me as a beginner, but I went ahead and tried something more my weight... and not only enjoyed myself, but learned a lot about what I needed to do.
Have fun... that's what it's all about...

I just wanted to make one statement on that topic :
try try try
every scenario you start ( and probably end it also ) will bring you more experience , and from my own point of view every battle you start will answer some and evoke some new questions about the reaction of your troops in certain situations . I learn the game by playing a long-run campaign on one hand and playing scenarios when there is no time for the campaign or if something really attracted my mind (like playing against myself for finding out how recon works ) .

If you want to try a small Pacific Scenario I have one posted at the WarfareHQ Scenario Section. It is pretty small and quick playing. It is my first scenario in a long time so it still may need to be tweaked for balance and playability. It would be good to have a newer player give me some feedback as it was meant to be a small introduction type scenario that could lead to a full blown campaign if enough players like it.
There are many smaller, quick play scenarios for the game, my friend.
You can find some at the Gamers Depot at the Wargamer.
http://www.wargamer.com/gamesdepot/
See the number of turns listed if they are listed. Read the background on a few and see if they meet your need.
I'm just finishing one based on the movie, "A Walk in the Sun," and as soon as version 8.0 comes out, it will be available.
There will be a lot of others. We hope to include over 200 revised scenarios and quite a few new ones when 8.0 appears.

The very first tutorial is designed for just that purpose. There is a corresponding section in the SPWAW manual that tells you what to do and then what happens. You learn the basics of moving, firing and gaining objectives. Nothing fancy, but enough to get you going.

Hi ghighi0! Welcome to the forums!
I have a few suggestions as far as small and relatively simple scenarios to get started. I don't know if you are the tutorial type--I skipped them, but referred back to them later when I ran into more complex issues, like handling engineers or managing artillery.
A good small scenario to start with is #203 in 8.0, Wild Bill's "A Royal Tiger." It's a short intense firefight (12 turns) that pits German tanks against the Soviets.
Another small scenario that is a little more involved, and deals with combined arms is Redleg's "To Kill a Tiger" where some US Airborne units and a platoon of Shermans deal with German Paratroopers and some Tiger tanks. I looked for it in the 8.0 package but didn't see it. I tried to upload it to the forum as a zip, which the forum won't allow and then a gif or jpg in the hopes you could download and rename it, but the server errored out. If you are interested in getting it, I can email it to you if you shoot me your address.
The last suggestion if you are interested in taking a stab at campaigns would be to try Wild Bills "Flesh and Steel" campaign under the Campaigns section. One of the other guys on the forum has this campaign listed in his tagline as the "Tanks at Munda" campaign. It is a short (two or three scenarios, I think) campaign with small maps that really give you a feel for combined arms and the basics of campaign management.
Hope this helps!

“How to kill a Tiger” is one of the Tutorials actually not showing in Spwaw 8.0.
And just for good order’s sake, the scenario’s designer is not Redleg, but Fabio Prado.
All the tutorials will be moved back in scenarios’ list, with the incoming patch.

Hi Resisti.
I think the one I was referring to was different than the one you are. The title of the scenario is "To Kill a Tiger" not "How to Kill a Tiger." I'll post the text from the accompanying description for better explanation. Take a look at it and let me know if it is the same.

**
A fictional company-sized battle that takes something more than an hour to play. Should be
played with all settings turned on except C/C. Human should play the U.S. side.
**
Take command of a U.S. airborne company supported by a platoon of Shermans. They will
need skillful leadership as they attempt to drive an FJ unit from their positions. If the
rumor that Tigers are in the area is reliable, it will be a very difficult fight.
**
You will receive extra credit for all German casualties produced. Some v-hexes are worth
very few points, others are valued at 100 points. Good luck and good shooting will be
required.
RE: find easy scenario
Which version have you got? v8 does not have most of the tutorials. I, or someone, could send you them if required.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, you didn't plan your mission properly.
