So.... looks intriguing but how about some accompanying explanation? :)

At first I was thinking tactical battles, but now I'm thinking some sort of display like the quick battles in Crown of Glory.

What are the green dots that look like islands? The blue slashes? Can we get them full size so we can read the unit names? It doesn't look like there is room for maneuver, but the 'next move/next turn' buttons imply we have some choices. Do you move back and forward in range and select targets? What is the 'seconds left' about?

Curious minds want to know! [:D]

This is better way of thinking
What are the green dots that look like islands?
You can move your ship there
The blue slashes?
Those means 'second line', carriers are much safer there.
Can we get them full size so we can read the unit names?
Yes, you can.
It doesn't look like there is room for maneuver
There is a room for evading
but the 'next move/next turn' buttons imply we have some choices.
You can select action for every ship or seceded it to AI.
What is the 'seconds left' about?
This represents how long effects of one move are going to be displayed.
