National Difficulty Settings for More Historical Accuracy

Post by Max 86 »

Hi all,

After playing this for some time I have thought about adjusting the difficulty levels of each country to better model historical realities. This is a work in progress and would appreciate any feedback. Just kickin' it around.

US 0
Japan 0
Australia +1 (Jap AI makes too much headway in my games)
UK +1 (same as Aussies, though Singapore falls around the historical time, Burma and India seem too vulnerable)
China +1
Dutch -1 (The Japs take too long here)
All minors -1

No problem Chief!

I cannot stop the Japs from taking over India and China. Being an inept Admiral has a lot to do with it.

I agree with the +1 for Australia and China.

I had to give +1 for the US because they STILL over run and take Hawaii.
After 16 years, Civ II still has me in it's clutches LOL!!!
Now CIV IV has me in it's evil clutches!

Try the Rising Sun Mod.

It has fixed those issues.
