Is this fog of war???

Post by Bigdog128 »

This is what I got from the saved combat results file when I played it back. The text file has nothing about this. How the heck can the game say that this is fog of war? I think I would know if 0ver 200 planes launched a strike and hit 4 or 5 ships with torpedoes or not.

When I went and looked at my planes and ships, it is as if this attack never occurred. Is this normal?

Yeah it happens.  I especially love it when my ships get "hit" and then I start to give my orders for the next turn and see that the paint isn't even chipped.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

This sounds more like a problem with differentversions. Or is it a game against the AI?

Then you may check your versions of the game. I had a similar problem when playing with 2.41 and my opponent used 2.3. My combat replays as ally completely differed from the actual combat reports.
