Playing in a window

Can someone tell me how to play the game in a window so it can be minimized?

I am not sure, but based in what I have seen in the art subdirectory of the game, it appears the screen backgrounds are "hardcoded", so playing it in a "window" will be a no go.

If someone figures out how, I'd like to know too.

1) Please note that the program will now run inside of a window, instead of full screen, if in 1024x768x16 bit screen mode and if the command line parameter –w is used.

How exactly does one use the -w parameter when starting the game?

Add the -w in the shortcut for the game.

I tried it, but it doesn't play nice in a window -- the entire screen disappears if the window isn't an exact size.
