HMS London

Post by MarcA »

I have just noticed in the ship database that the CA London is given three entries

London
London (Rebuild)
London 6/43

Does anyone know what the London (Rebuild) entry refers to?

This represents the original london class and their upgrade. The HMS London alone was damaged badly early in the war and in the end looks like a Belfast class CL. THis is the Rebuild London

How does it work in the game? Could I have both London and London Rebuild on the board or does London upgrade to London Rebuild.

Does London upgrade to London 6/43 or does London(Rebuild) upgrade to London 6/43?

Like The Dude said, London (the ship) only exists in its rebuilt form, so it's the only ship of the London (rebuild) class, and it doesn't upgrade to anything. The other ships of the London class go from the basic class to the 6/43 upgrade.

So, the HMS London is London (Rebuild) and all other London class ships, the Devonshire, Shropshire and Sussex, use the London and London 6/43 ship classes.
