You jump to click on a newspaper headline "'44 Oscar may be a fake" only to learn that it's talking about a film award... [8|]

When you get to work and your boss comes up to you with a critical item to get taken care of. You tell him to hold off for 10 mins so you can see how the PzB vs Andy Mac AAR is going. [&o]

Or when you're watching the Military Channel and they say something about the USS Enterprise in 1943 and you think "That can't be... she was sunk near Darwin in '42"[:D]

Or you can't figure out why all the maps of Japan are wrong... the Islands go left to right, not top to bottom.

... or when the decor of your computer rooms consists of nothing but WWII Pacific maps and books with sticky notes containing strange words like Daitai, SNLF and Balikpapan posted all over them.

... or when you the wife knows the back of your head far better than the front!

... or when the only reason you check your email is to see if the turn has arrived.

Okay, there's a bad joke running thru my head now about being married to a woman named Betty and torpedoing.

Fortunetly my wife's name, Pam, does not appear as a plane in the game.

When I was single I dated a girl named Val and her best friend was named Kate(Katherine). And people wonder why I am Jap fan boy? [:D]

These names were ruined for me ever since PacWar. [:-]

In the middle of a movie with the wife you pause the DVD for a 'bathroom break' and run downstairs to read the latest combat report in a PBEM turn.

when you see a headline that says EARTHQUAKE OF 6.7 MAGNITUDE HITS NEAR VANUATU and your first thought is "I know where that is" and your second thought is "i hope it didn't damage the airfield."
