You have built a very hard nut to crack around Berlin. Do you still get enough PP to repair all units at this stage?

I am getting 100 PP a turn courtesy of a convoy from Naples to Copenhagen, which is them barged over to the coast, and smuggled into Berlin. This does not make perfect sense, but the rules on replacements do not follow encirclement stipulations. I am sure the Allies are building Air Power furiously. I do not think they will use an atomic bomb in Europe.

Understand. Thank you.

You brought up the Atomic bomb and I am curious about its use. Yours is the first game where it may see action since you helt on for so long. I believe the rules state that you get one every month once researched. Players report you get only one per game. Do you know which?

Also what is the effect? Eradicate a single city or a larger area around it? Can it be used on non-city hexes? Will the city be without PPs (VPs ?)afterwards for the rest of the game? Many questions.

If you hold out we may find out ...

I used nukes once. It eliminated the unit in the target hex. I never got another one so pick your target wisely.

How are you even moving aroung in your position? Do you disband when you want to move a unit?

James,

I attacked with the 9-5 against the 5-3 twice and got 1.3 SP when I disbanded it, then used the "hole" to move panzers. I rebuilt a 8-0 korps when done as I am scared of a hole for a parachute unit or a punch through.

Sounds like your playing one of those slide puzzles with your units. You just need to make sure the units end up in the right places.[:)]

Very innovative. Now the Americans have to pursue an Island Hopping campaign not only in the Pacific. This will extend the war quite a bit especially since you have the naval superiority and the Allied paratroopers have been sacrificed earlier in France. Copenhagen is also your entry port for PP convoys - it all fits together.

It will be hard for your opponent to make the 9/1/46 deadline now.

The move to Denmark will leave me dependent on Copenhagen's supply as Berlin will surely fall soon. He will be through Denmark and Sweden quite quickly. Italy is in big trouble, Spain less so, but Gary will finish me off in the Spring I think. The Swedes should have stayed out!

I suspect Gary has airborne troops in the force mix of both the Allied and Soviet's armies. The Italians will not be shipping PP to the Germans much longer.

I was surprised at the navy Sweden has! That country would make a good ally, but difficult to bring in.

I think once Berlin falls you can only reinforce existing German units.
